Tonnau Primary

The final school on Peter’s tour was Tonnau Primary and he was met with a warm reception and a lively group of children.

Following his talk Peter gave the children the opportunity to ask any question.

“If you want to become an MP you need to have passion for the job, you need to really want to help people and change things for the better. But above all you need to work really hard.”

Peter was also asked whether he liked being an MP and who was the first Prime Minister.

“Sir Robert Walpole. In 10 Downing Street the are pictures on the wall of every Prime Minister there has been.”

Peter was also able to welcome new headmaster Lloyd Jones who took over from Tony Evans in September following his retirement.
